I graduated in medicine, went on to do my PhD in molecular medicine and then my residency in radiology and diagnostic imaging.

The focus of my research has been the analysis of positron emission tomography (PET) and magnetic resonance (MR) images using machine learning algorithms. The aim is to extract relevant information and make clinically useful predictions based on this information.

I’ve been working mostly with R and Matlab, using SPM and also Freesurfer. I’m currently developing a toolkit for the application of machine learning algorithms to PET images in R.

I’m am also interested in programing, web application development and electronics.
